The video conference devoted to interaction between public organizations with state structures in Central Asian countries was held in Almaty.
Participants from Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan shared their experience if social problems solution in their countries. All them agreed in opinion that Kyrgyz NGOs at the moment are the most developed in terms of interaction with state structures country.
Today in Kyrgyzstan public is able to participate in election of judges of all levels, in involved in the license process, partnership with Ministry of Internal Affairs. Also social councils are attached to all ministries.
The issue of dialogue between government and NGO is up-to-date for all countries in Central Asia. And «Development through regional cooperation» program significantly contributes to the solution of the difficult situation, – Agnessa Gladkikh, DRC deputy manager said.
According to the report of principal of the IPF «Children of Chernobyl and Aral», due to new projects in Kyzylorda region, the access to medical service was provided. Kairat Imanaliyev, head of public union of people with disabilities and with higher education, claimed the future ratification of the convention «About the rights of people with disabilities» by the end of 2014. Kyrgyzstan plans to accept this convention in 2015. And Tajikistan does not develop such a project yet.
Tajik NGOs target more vulnerable groups. For example, Rano Jumayeva reported significant success in work with young women against home violence. However, the majority of NGOs in Tajikistan are seriously worried by limitations in nonprofit funding.
It is important to notice, that Kyrgyz publics managed to avoid limitations in NGO functioning.
As the result of the 4th video conference, its participants decided to create the list of issues, common for all Central Asian countries, and work with them together.
