“Network organization: management and practice” training for the network of non-profit organizations in Central Asia and Azerbaijan held in Almaty 24-26 January, 2017. The event was organized within USAID funded program “Partnership for Innovations – P4I».
The training has become a platform to establish networking cooperation between civil society leaders from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan. Members of the training are 31 representatives of public organizations that address environmental issues, youth civic participation, education, people with disabilities, gender equality issues, etc.
The training provides using innovative tools. During three days, participants will have a chance to create partnerships from other countries on thematic issues. Also they will determine the aims and objectives of the network organizations; learn about systemic approaches and methods of cooperation; understand network typology; understand evaluation criteria of network interaction; find out what is necessary for the effective management of network organizations, and how to structure and organize the work of the network? And most importantly, the participants will develop ideas for common projects and understand where to go.
Trainers and moderators of the training are International expert on organizational development – Philipp Reichmuth and Regional editor of Internews in Central Asia – Gulim Amirkhanova.
Philipp Reichmuth, International Expert.
Philipp is an expert on knowledge management and organizational development. He holds a PhD in Islamic Studies from Halle University (Germany) as well as a certification as specialist for systemic organizational development in intercultural contexts. He works in Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, both in academic research and in international development.
Gulim Amirkhanova, Regional Editor, Internews.
Gulim is an outstanding specialist and experimenter in the area of multimedia content. Her portfolio includes dozens of up-to-date media and CSO websites using enhanced multimedia technology. Hundreds of journalists were educated during her training workshops and webinars. Gulim is ready to share with training participants her experience on how to attract the audience to various content resources.
